For over 10 years, the W!SE Foundation has been working with schools across the country to teach economics, personal finance, and the principals of credit and lending to graduating high school seniors. For these students on the brink of financial independence, and in the post-financial crisis world, it is more important than ever to learn how to save money, build credit, and avoid the pitfalls of debt and personal bankruptcy.
Founded by Physicist and Therapist Moshe Feldenkrais, The Feldenkrais Method is a revolutionary practice for improving body awareness, reducing pain and discomfort, and recovering from the effects of stroke or other neurological injuries. SixDay had the opportunity to discover more about this intriguing and clinically-proven therapy, and help The Feldenkrais Institute of New York communicate the essence of a practice that has simple roots, but often eludes a simple description.
Sweat testing for electrolyte and fluid depletion is becoming an important part of how professional athletes reach their peak performance. Levelen is bringing this sophisticated approach to amateur athletes and coaches through their Sweat Testing System and line of Levelen customized electrolyte replenishment products. SixDay put together an introduction to sweat testing for pro and amateur athletes and coaches to get the word out about the wide variance in fluid and electrolyte loss between athletes. With summers reaching record temperatures, knowing how much water and electrolytes you are losing during physical activity, and how much you need to replace is essential to athlete health and safety.
SixDay's Tom Henwood had the privilege of directing several Dos Equis promo spots with none other than "The Most Interesting Man In The World," Johnathan Goldsmith. The man behind the man is smart, funny, worldly--damned interesting, really. MIMW is brought to you live via satellite from the Bare Knuckle Boxing Hall of Fame where he is, of course, this year's honored inductee.
SixDay again had the opportunity to work with Credit Suisse on their annual review of employee and institutional giving in the Americas region. They asked us to find a way to introduce themes and metrics from three very different focus areas--education, employee engagement, and microfinance--all in a very short time-frame. We used a combination of documentary footage of Credit Suisse employees doing their thing and 2D animation graphics and wraparounds to bring a whole region's worth of efforts into focus.
SixDay's Tom Henwood talks with Euro RSCG's Lee Garfinkel and the creative team behind Charles Schwab's "Talk to Chuck" campaign about their new spokesperson, Chris Diamantopoulos, and their new series spots, directed by Phil Morrison (of Apple Mac fame).
We put together several new product demos for Crayola's Holiday annual campaign that combine live action video capture and various forms of animation. Stop motion it fun, but it takes a long time.
SixDay produced a slate of nearly 20 multi-cam promos and instructionals featuring the latest tools, materials, and patterns from Martha Stewart Crafts. Integrating HD video and 2D animation and outputting in Flash, SixDay was able to help bring MSC's interactive video offerings to the next level. The videos feature the talented celebrity crafters from The Martha Stewart Show, and will be featured on Martha Stewart Crafts.com, Michaels.com, and several other related sites.
